This all started years ago…
Kat Sullivan has been an advocate for Survivors of Sexual Assault since her own childhood experience was brought to light in 2016. She became an outspoken advocate for the child victims act, putting up billboards and participating in the legislative process in New York to help aid in it’s passage (which finally happened in 2019). While Gov. Cuomo counted this as a win for his administration, it became clear that the culture of bullying and intimidation toward Kat that this would not be a resolution or even a truce.
Between 2016-2019, Kat became the subject of an investigation by JCOPE, the Joint Commission on Public Ethics, an “independent” regulatory body, with more than a few members appointed by Cuomo himself. Since then Kat has continued to document Cuomo’s spectacular rise in public adoration during the early days of the pandemic, to our current atmosphere where we demand no less that Cuomo be fired by the NY State Legislature or Resign!
